How long does eyeliner tattoo last? Eyeliner tattoo can last 3-5 years or even longer! Most clients get a touch up after 2-3 years once the colour starts to fade.
Does eyeliner tattoo hurt? Topical numbing cream will be used before and during the procedure to minimize any discomfort. Most clients report pain is minimal and very tolerable. Ensuring that you follow our pre-care instructions will also help to further minimize the discomfort.
How do I know what type of eyeliner is suitable for me? If you don't normally wear eyeliner and have absolutely no idea what would look good on you.. Don't worry! We will discuss the different options with you and based on your eye shape and your personal style, we will recommend the appropriate style that will be the most suitable! We offer 2 different types of permanent eyeliner, Lash Line Enhancement and Classic Eyeliner. Lash Line Enhancement is done under and in between your lashes to create a thicker lash line. This style is perfect to accentuate the shape of your eyes without the look of makeup. Classic Eyeliner is done in between the lashes AND on top of the lashes to create a slightly bolder look. The thickness is customized based on your eye shape and style.
Who is a good candidate for eyeliner tattoo? This service is recommended to you if: - You are allergic to or sensitive to most eye makeup - You are looking for smudge-proof and long lasting eyeliner - You are seeking to enhance the size of your eyes - You have an active lifestyle and does not want to go out bare-eyed - You have no eyelashes for medical reasons - You have trouble applying eye makeup due to poor vision or unsteady hands - You want to save time in the morning applying your makeup
Who is NOT a good candidate for eyeliner? If any of the following apply to you, you may not be a good candidate for this procedure. - You are on Accutane (must discontinue use for 12 months before procedure) - You're currently using an eyelash growth serum (must discontinue use for 3-6 months before the procedure as this brings extra ciruculation to the eye area making it hyper sensitive and can bleed easily) - You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding - You are allergic to lidocaine - You have a blood-borne communicable disease such as HIV or Hepatitis - You have cosmetic surgery around the eye area within 6 months - You are taking blood thinning medication. How long does permanent eyeliner take to heal? The healing period is about 7-10 days for permanent eyeliner. Swelling is very minimal on the day of your appointment, however you should expect some swelling the next morning after you wake up.
