Preparing for your Eyebrow Appointment
For optimal healed results, it is important to follow the instructions below

Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to procedure
-
Stop taking Omega 3/Fish oil one week prior to procedure

Please be advised that the healing process may take longer if you do not take proper precautionary measures

Immediately After: Absorb
-
Gently blot the brow area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day until the oozing has stopped. Removing this liquid is important as it will prevent hardening of the lymphatic fluid

Day 1-7: Wash
-
Wash eyebrows daily (morning and evening) to remove build up of oil, bacteria and dead skin. Use a gentle soap like Cetaphil or Cera-Ve. Wash lightly for 10 seconds and rinse thoroughly with cool water. Pat dry with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA) or any exfoliants.

Day 1-7: Moisturize
-
Apply a rice grain amount of the given ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. Be sure not to over-app as this will suffocate the skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. NEVER put the ointment on wet or damp skin.

Important Reminders
-
Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour
-
Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for 1 week
-
No facials, botox, chemical treatment or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks
-
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors
-
Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days. Limit your showers to 5 minutes so you do not create too much steam
-
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days
-
Avoid topical makeup, including sunscreen on the treatment area
-
DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area
-
No anti-aging or acne products on the brow area. This causes fading and discoloration
